![]() This IS my idea of a day at the beach! Hello friends old and new, excuse me if you've already heard this one but..... A little bit about me. I have been an esthetician for over 30 years. Helping my clients to go forth confidently through all the seasons of their lives is my passion. Having been a teenager with acne I know how a "Bad Skin" day can wreck havoc with your confidence. To change my skin situation I saved up babysitting money and began investing in facials. Those experienced and kind estheticians patiently taught me that everything I learned in Seventeen magazine was confusing my skin. (*cue time machine…) Neutrogena soap, Apres Scrub, BuffPuff, Bonne Bell Ten-o-Six toner, rubbing alcohol and no moisturizer only made my face sore and condition worse. With proper care my skin cleared and my obsession with skincare and makeup was born!
My education began at Elizabeth Grady’s when it was still on Newbury Street. I first studied makeup with Carol Shepard. She suggested I cut my teeth in retail where I would have thousands of faces to practice on, learn from the best cosmetic companies and make a pretty good living! After years in retail and side gigs working on photo shoots, fashion shows and weddings a fire was lit to open my own makeup studio. In Massachusetts you must be a licensed Cosmetologist or Esthetician so I went back to Elizabeth Grady now located in Medford to achieve my MA Esthetics License. My first business was a little two room studio in Hyannis for skincare and makeup, Paparazzi Studio. All the while I traveled all over New England teaching skincare & makeup and running makeover events in area salons and spas. Five more businesses under my belt and I am the happiest I have been! SBaba Skincare is located in YarmouthPort, Cape Cod. A space also shared with three other businesses run by accomplished, generous and passionate spa and wellness professionals with high standards of client care. At 62 I am right where I am supposed to be. @neogenplasma_capecod #esthticanjourney #confidentaging #ispeakyourage #neverstoplearning #aimhigh #followyourdreams 7h
